Hypocrisy

I was with my family at SS15 MC Donalds. mom decided to eat MCD.. cause it was 1pm and the price was Rm 5.95.

so we decided to go to one on the way back from church.. stop by at SS15, just besides Inti, Near to Starbucks and metropolitan college. so there, we saw kids college students trying to be cool and study in the MCD environment.

first of all.. how to study when u keep smelling food and rancid oil?
secondly, how to study with all the people walking in and out of the outlet?

anwyay... i think if you are a student and trying to study, you should head to the library.. or maybe confine urself to your room.. instead of having a drinking session at MCD and crowd the place... kononnye with the books on the table you will study.

i looked to the group infront of us.. 3 girls all have calculus books opened up right infront of them but they keep talking about music and whatnots... when there was silence, the girls are 'thinking' of their maths problem.. think so long the pen was not moving.. suddenly they decide to get a burger ,_,

the group on the left... kinda rowdy bunch of boys... they are reading some stuffs but then decided to talk about i have no idea what...

another problem is i dont get it.. parents send their kids to college for a better education.. they study in english but they converse in chinese? im not against chinese language besides the fact that i cant speak mandarin well.. infact, im somewhat ok in my chinese... with a dash of angmoh slang speaking.

but the fact is... why send your kids to such high class place like Taylors and Inti and private colleges when your kids still grow up speaking 1/2 ripen english? abit the waste of meso money...

i recall when i was in TAR college, there was a campaign to speak english.. all the staffs in the office are suppose to speak english.. needless to say, there are little progress at the counter cause the students there speak half broken english and the staff also speak half broken english.. as a result? the line in the counter gets so long that they needa scrape that campaign.

Mouse said that some chinese are so proud of their chinese that they look down on those bananas (like me) who cannot speaking like them. they said "why you chinese but dont know how to speaking chinese?"

Mouse fired back "You are malaysian rite? why your malay is worst than your english?"

i think our education system is regressing... to the point that the government have to switch teaching maths and science to malay again... fear of failing exams? kids learn faster than adults... so why the fear?

we all adpoted the kiasu attitude from Singapore... thats why the government screw up our education system.. now they wanna make it single vernacular... just cant they stop screwing up?

im not going to say my english is so damm perfect i should get a medal... but at least i am trying to get my chinese workable too... i dont see those chinese speaking people trying to speak english?

well.. maybe cause im so sepet i cant see them trying?

sometimes it sucks if you talk to someone who cannot converse properly with you in english... sometimes i feel people thinks the same thing to me when they speak chinese to me...

at least TehFly is trying rite?

work makes u go all nuts.... my chinese is improving.. says Mr. Huang... =)

we are all born to be hypocrite...
